Roxanne R. Mayweather

Roxanne Mayweather is a highly respected stock footage research and intellectual property rights and clearance professional in the entertainment industry. After attending Mills College in Oakland, California, Roxanne began working in the film industry with legendary director/producer Roger Corman. She developed her love of film and quickly recognized its power to entertain, inform and affect people in unexpected ways at his studios. Later, working as a Visual FX Coordinator on seminal special effects films like TRON, The Philadelphia Experiment, and Children of the Corn, Roxanne added to her skill set the importance of strict budgeting, cultivated attention to detail as well as the necessity of creative problem solving. Roxanne has formidable knowledge of film and video formats, ranging from those that are now obsolete to the new media standards more commonly used today.

As the former Director of Research for Film Bank, she interfaced with film libraries and film laboratories worldwide. She mastered the details of film making and video stock, format and transfer, all while locating, ordering, and editing hard-to-find 16mm and 35mm stock footage film clips for documentaries, commercials and major studio feature films.
